March 22 @ 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm
Chicago Women Take Action will be hosting a Let’s Talk It Out Conversation as part of the 100% Project initiated by the Chicago Foundation for Women. Hundreds of people across Chicagoland will be sitting down for honest conversations abut sexual harassment, #MeToo and where women and men go from here.
Over the last few months we’ve witnessed a national #MeToo conversation followed by the Time’s Up about sexual harassment and the abuse women experience at work, at home and in our communities. If we are going to achieve true gender equality we need to talk about sexual harassment as a form of gender bias and work together to develop solutions.
If we are going to end gender bias in our lifetime, we need to keep the conversation going. And we need your voice at the table to discuss What Is Harassment? Please join us and bring friends.
Date: March 22nd
Time: 6:30 P.M.
Location: Private Residence, Oak Park
If it’s convenient you are welcome to bring a snack or beverage to share
The discussion will be co-led by Ann Breen-Greco, Co-founder and Co-chair Chicago Women Take Action, Administrative Law Judge, and long time activist on women’s issues and Carole Levine, Principal Consultant Levine Partners Nonprofit Consulting, and Chair, Courts Matter Illinois
Chicago Women Take Action is a group of activists of all ages, united by our commitment to advocate and fight for social justice, economic security and a peaceful world in which women and their families can thrive. We are confident that working together and with others, our voices and our actions, make the critical difference.
